Vineyard Manager

Lodewyk has a profound understanding of how to produce exceptional grapes in the Stellenbosch-region. He has been with Journey’s End since 2011, having worked previously with Michel Laroche’s L’Avenir Estate. Lodewyk is charged with overseeing all aspects of the vineyard and farm management. He manages a team of nine permanent staff and up to forty casual labourers. His favourite wines are the Journey’s End Single Vineyard Merlot 2009 and The Huntsman Shiraz Mourvedre Viognier 2015.
