Oliver was born in Cape Town, and after a spending his gap year working at Ballymaloe house in Ireland he fell in love with wine. On his return home he pursued a career in wine working at some of Constantias vineyards, while studying for a degree in Marketing and Management, and completing all four WSET courses. He also did a short stage at a Michelin Star restaurant in Northern Italy before moving the UK to work for a major wine importer based in London. Oli’s favourite wine is the Cape Doctor.
