Wayne Adendorff

Assistant Winemaker

Wayne is the warehouse manager and assistant winemaker for Journey’s End. Being a Stellenbosch native, he came to work at Journey’s End through its proximity to his then winemaking premises at Lourensford. He began working for Journey’s End in 2009, and in 2010 witnessed the new cellar being built, and was involved in the first harvest in the new Journey’s End cellar. Wayne is extremely passionate about the production of wine, and being involved in this ever evolving industry. Wayne’s favourite wine in the Journey’s End portfolio is the Cape Doctor 2009 – especially with the depth and concentration produced by this predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon based blend.
